Born and raised in southern California. I began to enjoy listening to music with my elementary school friends and by the time we entered junior high we had decided to start a band. For whatever reason, I gravitated towards the drums and It wasn’t long before my parents bought me my first kit. A black five piece Pearl Export select. Until then I had been practicing on pillows to all my favorite bands but now that I had a kit of my own I didn't play so much to others band’s music but I was experimenting on the drum kit itself. When I wasn't experimenting I was jamming with my band at the time.

 

Since then I have in-devoured in studying Japanese and am now living in Japan with my wife. Moving overseas from California meant selling my then second drum kit. A Concord fade Pearl VBX.

Once in Japan, I knew I needed a kit of my own. So, when the chance came I bought my current kit. A matte walnut Pearl Reference Pure kit. With a heart full of inspiration, I began to again experiment and play the drums. After a randomly discovering a community of wonderful artist my renewed love for playing and recording with other artist has grown to the extent that I now regularly record with many different kinds of artist on a weekly basis purely for the love of collaborating musically.
