The focus of my lessons is music. It is my hope to teach the drums in a musical setting. My students will learn the fundamental basics of the drums as an instrument and a tool to express themselves musically. Not only will they learn those fundamentals but how to create their own individual voice as a drummer.

learning how the drum kit works, how to set up a drumset, how to tune and find the sound they may be looking for. they will learn how to play to world-famous artist and eventually come up with there own original drum parts for original music. They will learn how the drums fit in a song and how the choices they make behind the drums will directly effect the song for better or for worse.
